Kunt Pills "Hole In My Head"

SELF-RELEASED | 2025

by Steven Logan

Just like all the best Kunt Pills songs, “Hole In My Head” feels urgent, like you know it’s going to be a new favorite before your first listen is even over. The track is pure pop with an experimental twist, Rihanna-meets-The Cure as the Dayton artist delivers a desperate vocal performance over a chilly guitar line and pounding drums.

Kunt Pills has a knack for enigmatic lyrics, and “Hole In My Head” is no exception. “I just can’t bear to leave clean/So I say it to you quietly instead” is both puzzling and somehow devastating, coming right before a danceable drop.

“Hole In My Head” is the first release from Kunt Pills artist since her self-titled album last year, showing off a darker, moodier side to the synth-pop artist.
